Internet Machines is involved in the industry standards and organizations working towards interoperable system elements.

The mission of the Optical Internetworking Forum (OIF) is to foster the development and deployment of interoperable products and services for data switching and routing using optical networking technologies. The OIF will encourage co-operation among telecom industry participants including equipment manufacturers, telecom service providers and end users; promote global development of optical internetworking products; promote nationwide and worldwide compatibility and interoperability; encourage input to appropriate national and international standards bodies; and identify, select, and augment as appropriate and publish optical internetworking specifications drawn from appropriate national and international standards.
Our company is pleased to be a member of the Fabless Semiconductor Association (FSA). The organization encourages the relationship between fabless companies and suppliers; facilitates business partnerships; creates awareness of and promotes the fabless business model; disseminates relevant data; and fosters standards and policies.
Formed in June 1992, PCI SIG is the industry organization that owns and manages the PCI Local Bus specification. More than 850 industry-leading companies are active PCI SIG members. The organization is chartered to support new requirements while preserving backwards compatibility for all PCI revisions, maintaining the specification as an easy-to-implement, stable technology, and contributing to the technical longevity of PCI and its establishment as an industry-wide standard.
   

 

The Network Processing Forum (NPF) is a successor organization to the Common Switch Interface Consortium (CSIX) and the Common Programming Interface Forum (CPIX). The NPF's mission is to encourage the growth and effective use of network processing technology through standards, testing, benchmarking, and education.
